One of the sidewalks was designated the "Walk of Fame." There were many hand and footprints of famous people. Two examples were Shrek and Johnny Cash.
This statue was giving to the city. It symbolizes that Rotterdam is missing its heart since the center of the city was bombed.
A boat must have needed to pass through. You can see the road extended way into the air. This is part of the Rhine River. The blue structure/bridge is known as The Swan. When the bridge was first built, it swayed just enough to make people nauseous. It was perfectly safe but changes needed to be made so that people didn't get sick driving over it.
This white building was the first skycraper in Europe.
