This morning the three of us had Netherlands and its European Context. Today we discussed the many Dutch political parties. In the United States, there are two major parties and one usually has a majority while the other is in the opposition. In the Netherlands, there are almost more political parties than you can count. I don’t remember exactly but I think there are at least 15. Some are a little more popular and have more power than others. Parties form coalitions and work together to run the government.
We had an hour between classes. I had brought a sandwich with me for lunch, but was still hungry. We walked over to the bakery and I bought an appleflap. It was similar to an apple turnover but better. I am becoming addicted to that bakery which is not a good thing.
Kyler, Joel, and I had our first photography class. Joel has two uncles who are professional photographers so he is much more advanced than Kyler and I. We learned the basics of photography such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. We will not have class next week. Our assignment for next time is to work on exposure.
