Even with a late check-out, we had to be out of the hotel by 1:00. So we met a little after 12:30 to head over to the airport. The hotel had a shuttle to take us there. We had a $15 voucher for food and decided to eat at the Chili’s in the airport. We then decided to explore the airport. We headed over to terminal two and discovered a children’s play place. Kyler and Joel though that they needed to unwind and an apparently reconnect with their childhood. I will say the airport’s play place was pretty neat. After being stuck in an airport for over 24 hours, we had to do something entertaining! Our flight was slightly delayed, but I am guessing we left somewhere between 7:00 and 7:15 pm. I actually didn’t mind the takeoff; in fact it was kind of neat watching the city lights below us. Soon after takeoff, we were served pretzels and something to drink. Then we were served dinner. Surprisingly, not long after I fell asleep. I was woken up sometime in the night due to turbulence which didn’t make me very happy. The rest of the flight went smoothly. I really didn’t like the landing, but everything went well.
