As usual, we had Dutch class this morning. We took our third quiz which went well for me. We are already on the tenth lesson in the book and preparing the eleventh lesson for tomorrow’s class. It is amazing how fast we move through the book. Sometimes I don’t think the material is sinking in. However, when we quickly stopped at the grocery store this evening, I understood what the cashier said and I replied in Dutch. This afternoon we decided to wander around Leiden. I was able to take some pictures. We went to parts of the city we had never been seen. Since we spend so much time in our little section of the city, we didn’t realize how large Leiden really is. It was nice to see different scenery and take a break from studying Dutch.
