Dutch class this morning went well. It was surprisingly easy. We learned a lot about grammar. We have a quiz over the first 10 lessons on Monday. Only one week left until our final exam. I can’t believe that it is so soon. It seems like we just started learning the language. This afternoon, I didn’t do much. I was just glad to be done with class for the week. I did take a nap. We originally planned to go back to the bar we went to last weekend. We were planning to talk to the bartender again. Our plans changed when we met a bunch of students who live downstairs. Most of them were also from America. They invited us to come with them to a party that their program was hosting. Not knowing what it really was, we said we would go. We ended up at a club across town. There was a bar and plenty of room to dance. It really wasn’t what we were expecting but it was something to do. None of us are really big into dancing but it was fun. Kyler left early but Joel and I stayed until about 2:00 in the morning.
