This morning I got up and got ready. I made lunch around noon. In the afternoon, I studied for our quiz and reviewed all the lessons we had covered. On Mondays we have class from 5-8 pm since the professor has other obligations. In class we took our first quiz. I got 9 out of 10 questions correct. This wasn’t too bad but I was mad since I should have gotten them all right. In my mind I made a stupid mistake. In many languages there are different forms of the word ‘you’. There is a formal and informal version. I used the wrong one. Overall though, I didn’t think this was too bad for my first quiz. After class we went to the grocery store and then we made dinner. I was told to try a thing called vla. It is a Dutch dessert. It is hard to describe but it is similar to a pudding or custard. It comes in numerous flavors but I am told chocolate is the best. I thought that it was really good. After my really late dinner, I studied a little and went to bed.
