My Dutch 2 quiz went better than I expected. I didn’t get a great score, but it wasn’t bad for right after Spring Break. I felt unprepared for class but I faked my way through it. After class, I ate my sack lunch which consisted of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and chips. I also did my reading assignment for my next class. At 2:00, Kyler and I had Art and Architecture. Today we discussed still life and landscape paintings.
After class, Joel met us and we all went to the train station to buy our tickets for the Belgium trip. Steef gave us 50 Euro to buy our own tickets so that we could decide whether to return to Leiden after the trip was over or go to another city. I decided that since I was going to be traveling a lot soon, I would return to Leiden. Kyler and Joel decided to go to London. My trip to Brussels cost about 20 Euros. My ticket from Bruges to Leiden cost about 25 Euros.
On our way back from the train station, we stopped at a new grocery store which was close to the train station. This grocery store was a little more expensive than the one we usually go to, but was on the way home. I made myself diner and then packed for the trip.
So do you get sack lunches everyday? We get them if we're going on an excursion, but we have lunch (and all meals) at the house everyday. I think I would have problems if I had to cook all the time! I'd be going hungry a lot, because I'm not the cooking type! :) What will happen when I graduate?
