The boys went to London this weekend. They had problems coming back. They took a ferry boat from the UK to France. When they arrived in France, they missed their train to return to the Netherlands. So, this morning when I got to class, Dennis told me that it was difficult and awkward to have class with just one person. So, I now have class Wednesday morning. Our trip to Den Haag which was scheduled for Wednesday is now postponed until April. With my morning off, I went back to my room and worked on researching information for my Art and Architecture paper.
I thought that Kyler and Joel would be back in time for photography class at 2:00. However, they were not. Since my professor had traveled 30-45 minutes by train, she decided that we would still have class. So, I got a private photography lesson. I showed her my pictures I had taken for the assignment. She said it was my best assignment so far. I was pretty pleased with them. Since it was just me, class was shortened. I got out an hour earlier than normal.
When I returned to my room, Joel and Kyler were finally back. They told me about their trip to London. The part that stood out to me the most is that they met people in London who knew me! Some of the girls who are studying in Swansea with Rick and who I met in Dublin, were in London. Joel was talking to them and told them that he was studying in Leiden. They said they knew a girl who was studying there. Long story short, it’s a small world. I am still shocked that out of all the people in London, they found a few that knew Rick and me.
This evening we went to the grocery store and made dinner. I read for Art and Architecture and prepared my lessons for Dutch 2.
