I was very tired this morning because of a lack of peaceful sleep.  I ate breakfast at my hostel.  We had a traditional Irish breakfast.  I could choose from fried eggs, ham, sausages, toast, and baked beans.  I met Rick and the rest of the group and we went to St. Patrick’s Cathedral.  It was fun to see since it was almost St. Patrick’s Day but I have seen more impressive cathedrals.  We then went on a free walking tour of Dublin.  We saw many places including the Ha’penny Bridge, the Dublin Castel, Christ Church Cathedral, Trinity College, and the Dublin Spire.  After the tour, we walked around and explored the city.

The group wanted to sit in a bar and watch rugby all afternoon.  I learned very quickly that the group wanted to spend most of their time in the bars.  This was really frustrating to Rick and me.  I was only going to be in Dublin for three days and really wanted to see and do things that I can’t do at home.  Rick and I stayed for awhile but then decided to walk around the city.  Later that night, we met the group for dinner.  We then went to a bar that is known for having the most different types of beer in Dublin.  They had a live band which was nice.  I liked the man last night better but it was still nice.  Rick and I left early to return to our hostels.  The rest of the group went bar hopping.  The men were loud again tonight, so I did not sleep well.
