I had my Netherlands and its European context final his morning at 10:30.  My finals this semester are completely different from what I am used to.  For this class, I had an oral exam.  My professor asked me questions and I answered them verbally.  My final went very well.  For the most part, I knew all the answers to his questions.

After that final, I had a break before my Art and Architecture final.  I stayed at school and did some last minute studying.  My Art and Architecture final was at 1:00.  Again, it was an oral final.  The format was a little different than I expected but I liked it.  My professor handed me a stack of postcards of famous Dutch works of art.  He asked me to set up a museum gallery.  I could set up the “rooms” however I wished.  I decided to arrange the “rooms” by genre and the paintings were then placed in the sequence they were painted.  After my museum was set up, my professor asked me to explain why I set it up the way I did.  He also asked me to tell what I knew about the paintings.  Going into it, I was a little worried about this final since it was my first art history course and I did not know what to expect.  But, it went very well.

After my final, I went back to my room to study for my last exam, Dutch II.  I spent the entire afternoon and evening studying.
