This morning Rick showed me Swansea University where he takes classes. It was interesting to see. I am amazed how different our study abroad experiences have been. The school, classes, living arrangements, and finals were completely different. After my tour we went back to his flat and made spaghetti for lunch.

This afternoon we went to Gower. Gower is the peninsula that Swansea is located on. It is really pretty country and has some nice beaches. We went to Rhossili which is a really small town at the end of the peninsula. There were some really large cliffs and a nice beach to watch the sun set on.

We took the bus to get there. The roads were very narrow. We went through areas where the sheep and cattle graze freely. There were no fences so they were right next to the road. In one little town, there were lambs sitting at the bus stop. It was cute. When we got to Rhossili we walked around for awhile. It was a nice day. There were not too many people there so it was quiet and relaxing. We sat on one of the cliffs and watched the tide come in. Then we went to a little restaurant and got something to eat.

After dinner, we walked to the beach. We watched the sun set until it was time for us to catch the last bus back to Swansea.
